Unfade

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Unfade, a mobile app for restoring photographs and making new things from them — photos, videos, audio and stickers (the “Service”), operated by Unfade. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Unfade uses AI to restore old, faded and damaged photos; to edit, enhance and animate photos and video; and to create new images, video, songs, speech and stickers from what you provide or describe. Features, credit prices and daily limits may change as the Service evolves; the price of any paid action is shown before you confirm it.

Your account

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
• You must be old enough to consent to processing under the laws of your country (at least 13, or the higher age your local law requires).

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you upload and what you create with it.
• You grant Unfade only the limited permission needed to process your content and deliver results to you — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content or use it to train models.
• You confirm you have the right to upload the photos, videos and voices you provide, and that any voice you clone is your own.
• Films written in Director and sticker packs live on your device; keep your own backups.
• Sharing a sticker with everyone. If you share a sticker, you grant Unfade and other users a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it in the shared library and to copy it into their own libraries and WhatsApp packs, without attribution. Only share what you have the right to share and what is fine for anyone to see; shared stickers must follow the acceptable-use rules below. You can stop sharing at any time, which ends the license for new copies. We may remove a shared sticker at our discretion, and we remove one immediately when it is reported as offensive.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to create or process content that is illegal, that infringes others’ rights, that depicts a real person without their consent in a harmful or deceptive way, that impersonates someone, or that is meant to deceive. Face swaps and voices may only be used with the permission of the people involved. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI-created content

Results are produced by automated models and may be imperfect or inaccurate. Content the Service invents — merged people, extended scenes, imagined pictures, animated or speaking portraits, generated voices, stickers — is AI-generated content: merged, extended and AI-edited images carry a note in their metadata. You are responsible for how you use and share what you make.

Credits, purchases and limits

• Some features use credits or a Premium subscription. Purchases are processed by Google Play under its terms; refunds follow its policies. A job that fails on our side refunds its credits automatically.
• Free features may be limited in quantity, resolution or per day (for example, five free restorations and five stickers a day). Paid plans lift some limits; fair-use limits protect the Service from abuse.
• Advanced generation lets you pick a third-party model by name; each model’s price is shown on its row and charged per run. Compare mode runs and charges each selected model separately. Video runs are limited in length and resolution to what the shown price covers.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unfade is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account and data at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
